Fargo Public Library Hosts Cultural Event About China Sunday, Sept. 17

The Fargo Public Library, in partnership with the Cultural Diversity Resources Center organization, will host a special presentation about the rich history and culture of China by MSUM Professor Guan Zhimin and Chinese language teacher Qian Wei Wei. China is one of the four ancient civilizations and the two presenters will provide some highlights about China’s traditions, heritage, arts, food and festivals. The event starts at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the downtown Main Library. Light snacks and tea will be served. All ages are welcome. This program is part of the Welcoming Week Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo series of events, and the One Book, One Community reading project event series.
