Fargo Public Library’s Weekly Storytime Sessions Start Sept. 11

Children who love stories can enjoy them weekly when the Fargo Public Library’s fall storytime series for toddlers, preschoolers and families begins Monday, Sept. 11. Registration for this free 14-week program is open and spots are still available. Storytimes will be offered at all three library locations; children attend one session per week.

Toddler Storytime, for children ages 18 months up to 3 years, starts Sept. 11 and will be offered at the following library locations on the following days and times:

  • Main Library on Mondays at 10 a.m.
  • Northport Library on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
  • Dr. James Carlson Library on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

Preschool Storytime, for ages 3 and older, starts Sept. 11 and will be offered at the following library locations on the following days and times:

  • Main Library on Mondays at 11 a.m.
  • Northport Library on Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
  • Dr. James Carlson Library on Wednesdays at 11 a.m.

Family Storytime, for children 18 months and older, starts Sept. 11 and is offered at the following location and time:

  • Main Library on Mondays at 6:30 p.m.

This free program continues through Dec. 13. Registration is required; register online at www.fargolibrary.org or call Children’s Services at 701.241.1495. Daycares or groups with five or more children must call 701.241.1495 to register.

Baby Rhyme Time is lap sit storytime geared to infants up to age 18 months. It is offered on the first and third Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library and at 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Main Library. No registration is required for “Baby Rhyme Time.”
