Spring is here. Are you ready to start digging in your garden? Get your green thumb ready for spring and summer with a series of informational and hands-on gardening sessions at the library. Beginning Tuesday, May 2, the Fargo Public Library kicks off the four-part gardening series with tips and techniques for making lawns more beautiful. During the series, local gardening experts will cover a range of topics, including lawn care, container gardening and herb gardening. There will also be a plant exchange. All four sessions are scheduled at the downtown Main Library in the community room. Topics and dates include:
- Spring and Early Summer Lawn Care with Randy Nelson, Clay County Extension Educator: Tuesday, May 2, at 7 p.m.
- Container Gardening with Don Kinzler: Tuesday, May 9, at 7 p.m.
- Herb Gardening with Todd Weinmann, Cass County Extension Agent: Tuesday, May 16, at 7 p.m.
- Blossom Barter – Come with plants to trade! Tuesday, May 23, at 7 p.m.
