Get behind-the-scenes stories of Gladys, Romeo, Lou and Hot Rod Hamster when the Fargo Public Library welcomes author and illustrator Derek Anderson to the Main Library on Wednesday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. Anderson is an artist who has illustrated more than 20 children’s books and has written seven books of his own. All ages are welcome.
The creator of “Story County,” “Gladys Goes Out to Lunch” and “Romeo and Lou Blast Off,” Anderson is also the illustrator of the “Hot Rod Hamster” and “Little Quack” series of books. He will share what sparks his imagination and also demonstrate the process he uses to create his engaging illustrations. Anderson’s visit will include a book signing and books will be available for purchase.
