Fargo Public Library Offers Free Film And Music Streaming Via Hoopla

Borrowing digital music, video and comics to stream in a web browser or enjoy offline on a smartphone or tablet just got easier. Hoopla is the newest addition to the Fargo Public Library’s Digital Downloads Collection. Starting today, April 10, Fargo residents with a valid library card can stream thousands of popular movies, music albums, television titles, graphic novels and e-audiobooks for free via Hoopla.

To access Hoopla on a mobile device, download the free Hoopla digital app from the app store to an Android, iOS, or Kindle Fire device. There is no need to download an app or extension for an internet browser. Titles are available to borrow via instant streaming or temporary download to a smartphone, tablet or computer. Content on Hoopla is always available – no waitlists or holds, and each cardholder can have five downloads per month. In addition, Hoopla has an automatic return feature which eliminates late and overdue fines.

For more information or for help using Hoopla, ask a librarian at any of the Fargo Public Library locations or email askreference@cityoffargo.com.
