Ever wondered what it’s like to be a worm? As part of the library’s summer reading program, kids of all ages are invited to learn about worms and all the amazing things they do at the Fargo Public Library’s 2nd annual Worm Day event scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, at the downtown Main Library. A themed storytime titled “Wriggly Worms”, geared for toddlers and preschoolers, will start off the day at 10 a.m. The afternoon will feature worm races starting at 1 p.m.; all materials and worms will be provided for these events. Youngsters will learn all about the lowly earthworm with stories, activities, snacks and crafts.
Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public; adults must accompany children ages 9 and under.
