Library hosts Olympic-themed film series

Starting Sunday, the Fargo Public Library will host a 3-week film series at the downtown Main Library to celebrate the 2014 Winter Olympics. A screening of the 1993 movie Cool Runnings (PG), a film loosely based on the Jamaican bobsled team’s debut in the 1988 Winter Olympics, is set for Sunday, Feb. 9 starting at 2 p.m. in the Community Room. Free popcorn will be served. Other movies and dates in the series include:

  • Feb. 16  – Miracle (PG)
  • Feb. 23Chariots of Fire (PG)

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children under 10 years old.
