Library hosts “Biology of Scary Things” event Oct. 15

Ever wondered where our ideas and myths about vampires and zombies come from? The Fargo Public Library welcomes Dr. Andrew Mazz Marry, assistant professor of bioscience at MSUM, for a presentation titled “The Biology Behind Scary Things: the biological and historical facts behind the fiction of what we have been led to believe”. Join us for this fascinating event set for Tuesday, Oct. 15 starting at 7 p.m. at the downtown Main Library. Dr. Mazz Marry will discuss the science behind witches, zombies and other creepy stuff. All ages are welcome; however, this session is most appropriate for ages 12 and up. Contact Drea at 241-1472 for details.
