Library Celebrates Authors And Welcomes “Curious George” For A Visit Monday, Sept. 23

The Fargo Public Library will host a special “Curious George” storytime as part of its “Authors Old and New” event set for Monday, Sept. 23, starting at 11 a.m. in the community room at the downtown Main Library. This event will celebrate “Curious George” author and illustrator H.A. Rey’s birthday and also feature some young, award-winning authors and their books. Storytime will feature one of H.A. Rey’s familiar favorites about the curious little monkey, and youngsters will get a chance to meet Curious George. Kids will also get to hear two national PBS Kids Writers Contest winners read their award-winning stories. Vivi Allosso, 1st place winner in the kindergarten category, will read Missing Pants. Caleigh Gabriel, 1st place winner in the third grade category, will read Prima Duckarina. This event is geared for kids up to eight years old; refreshments will be served.

This event is co-sponsored by Prairie Public.
