Mt. Kilimanjaro climbing adventure focus of library talk

Did you know that Mt. Kilimanjaro is the world’s tallest free-standing mountain in the world? This fact did not discourage Earle “Bud” Myers, a local mountain climber and adventure seeker in his seventies, from climbing to its 19,341 foot summit in 2012. Join us Monday, July 29 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Main Library for a presentation by Myers and his daughter featuring stories and images from their African adventure. All ages are welcome to this event; contact (701) 241-1492 for details.
