Have you heard about 3D printing? It turns digital concepts into ready-to-use products such as toys and jewelry. To introduce people to this new technology, the library is hosting a 3D printing demonstration on Saturday, June 29, starting at 10 a.m. at the downtown Main Library. Ben Bernard, computer services specialist at NDSU, will demonstrate the 3D printer, display printed products, discuss 3D modeling software options, and answer questions about this revolutionary technology. Jake Clark of Alderon Industries, and John Schneider, founder of Fargo Makerworks, will also be on hand to answer questions about 3D printing and its applications. No registration is required. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Lori West at (701) 476-5977 or email email@example.com.
