Have you heard of geocaching, or are you new to geocaching? Have you been caching for a while but you want to get some additional tips? The Fargo Public Library welcomes local geocaching expert Jerome Hasbargen to the Dr. James Carlson Library on Monday, June 17 starting at 6:30 p.m. for a hands-on workshop titled “Geocaching 101.” Geocaching is an outdoor hobby designed to bring out the treasure hunter in all of us, and this introductory session will provide the basics of geocaching, geocaching rules, types of geocaches, along with the basics of how to use a GPS (Global Positioning System). Participants are welcome to bring their own GPS or smartphone to the event. This event is open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. For details, contact Lori at (701) 476-5977 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
