Library presents lunchtime storytime series for grown-ups

Need a little break from working, studying, or just an escape from the everyday? Stop by the downtown Main Library for thrilling tales of suspense, comedy, and more. Bring a bag lunch, sit back, and relax during this storytime event geared just for grownups. Titled “Blue Plate Special: Savory Stories to Thrill and Amuse”, the first session is set for Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. in the community room at the downtown Main Library. No registration is required, just bring your own lunch; free coffee will be served. Additional adult storytimes are scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month through May. Upcoming dates are March 13, April 10 and May 8. Watch for special guest readers at adult storytimes in the months to come.
