Library Launches Job Seeker Lab Starting January 22

Are you looking for a job? Need a place to access job search related resources or search for jobs online? Applying for a job has changed dramatically in the last few years. So too, has the process of looking for a job, finding job openings, writing cover letters and creating resumes. Next week, the Fargo Public Library is hosting the first of four job seeker’s lab sessions in order to provide people access to job search materials and resources for a successful job search. Job seekers are invited to work on resumes, search online for jobs and complete online job applications at this three hour session set for Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the downtown Main Library.

Local career expert Maronda Robertson, Career Counselor from MState, will be on hand to answer basic job search related questions. Internet access, USB ports and job search related resources will be available. Registration is not required for these lab sessions. For information, contact Lori West at or call (701) 476-5977.

Three more job seeker lab sessions are scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month; future dates are February 26, March 26, and April 23.

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. For more information regarding the Fargo Public Library and a list of upcoming events, call the Fargo Public Library or visit .
