Library Hosts Keychain Craft Events for Kids

Do you have a youngster at your house with a new My First Library Card or a standard library card from the Fargo Public Library? In January and February, area youngsters, ages 12 and under, who have a library card are invited to stop by the library for special keychain craft events to make a keychain for their own library card. Join us Thursday, Jan. 17 anytime between 10 a.m. and noon at the downtown Main Library. No registration is required for this open house-style event. All materials will be provided.

More keychain craft sessions are scheduled for the following dates and Fargo Public Library locations:

  • Thursday, Jan. 24Dr. James Carlson Library from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Thursday, Jan. 31Northport Library from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Thursday, Feb. 14 - Dr. James Carlson Library from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Thursday, Feb.21Main Library from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Thursday, Feb. 28Northport Library from 10 a.m. to noon

The keychain craft program is a part of the Fargo Public Library’s new My First Library Card program. Children from birth through age 7 who have never had a Fargo Public Library Card are welcome to apply for a distinctive My First Library Card.
