Library’s weekly storytime sessions starting Jan. 14; spots still available

A season full of stories awaits you and your youngster at the Fargo Public Library’s  weekly storytime series which begins Monday, Jan. 14 and runs through April 17. Registration for this free 14-week program is open and spots are still available. Storytimes will be offered at all three library locations; kids attend one session per week.

Preschool Storytime, for ages 3 and up, starts Jan. 14 and will be offered at the following library locations on the following days and times:

  • Main Library (102 3rd St. North) at 11 a.m. on Mondays.
  • Northport Library (2714 N. Broadway) at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays.
  • Dr. James Carlson Library (2801 32nd Ave. S.) at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays.

Toddler Storytime, for kids ages 18 months up to 3 years old, is scheduled for 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Mondays at the Main Library and at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays at the Dr. James Carlson Library.

Registration is required for the library’s weekly storytime sessions. Register online at www.fargolibrary.org, or call the Children’s Librarian at 241-1495. Daycares or groups with five or more kids must call (701) 241-1495 to register.

The library also offers other storytime events for kids and families:

Baby Rhyme Time, for babies from birth to age 18 months, is offered on the first and third Thursday of each month at both the Dr. James Carlson Library and the downtown Main Library. No registration is required for “Baby Rhyme Time” storytime.

Saturday Storytime is scheduled once per month at each library location from September through May; no registration is required for Saturday storytimes.
