Did you get a new tablet or e-reader as a gift this holiday season and need a few tips on how to access the library’s eBook collection with your device? Want to try Zinio, the library’s new free downloadable magazine service? If so, the Fargo Public Library has a couple of technology sessions for you. Next week, the library is offering two informational sessions on how to get started using the library’s downloadable digital collections. Basic instruction on how to get started with your tablet or e-reader device and other basic questions will be covered. Taught by library staff, the 90-minute sessions are set for Monday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Main Library, and Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library. Pre-registration is required due to limited seating. Register online or contact the Main Library’s Information Desk at 241-1492.
Get connected with free computer and technology classes at the Fargo Public Library. All sessions are 90 minutes long and offer hands-on learning on specific topics of interest to area residents. Each class is a one-time workshop, and individual practice after each class is highly recommended. Visit our calendar of events for a complete list of class topics, dates and times. For details about upcoming technology classes or to register for a class, contact the Main Library’s Information Desk at 241-1492.
