The Fargo Public Library is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Wiggle Room, an early literacy center and play space, at the downtown Main Library (102 3rd St. N.). Area youngsters and their parents/caregivers are invited to stop by and explore this new space filled with a mix of early learning experiences on Monday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon. A dedicated space in the children’s library that focuses on building early literacy skills through play and hands-on exploration, the Wiggle Room has a variety of activities and learning stations for little fingers to explore and develop essential pre-reading skills. With puzzles, blocks, costumes, and a writing center, there is something to engage every child.
As part of the grand opening celebration, light refreshments will be served.
Made possible through a gift from a generous library donor, the Wiggle Room will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
