Library Hosts Radio Controlled Airplane Event October 7 as Part of One Book, One Community Project

Radio controlled airplanes are coming to the Dr. James Carlson Library Sunday, Oct. 7.  This is the first featured event of the Fargo Public Library’s One Book, One Community project. Members of the Valley RC Flyers Club will display and demonstrate these amazing flying machines starting at 2 p.m. on the green space behind the Dr. James Carlson Library, weather permitting. Club members will be on hand to answer questions about the planes and the hobby of radio controlled airplanes at this engaging event. People of all ages are invited to stop by and see these fine airplanes fly. In addition, hand-held balsa gliders will be given away at this event, while supplies last. For details, contact Elizabeth at 241-1498.
