Library Hosts Star Wars Read Day Event for All Ages October 6

A short time from now and not so far away…the Fargo Public Library is participating in the first-ever Star Wars Reads Day with activities for kids, teens and adults. Join us in celebrating reading and Star Wars Saturday, Oct. 6 from 12 to 3 p.m. in the community room at the downtown Main Library. A screening of the movie Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (PG) will start at 1 p.m. Special guest appearances by members of the 501st Legion will also be part of this unique event. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars character. The event will include crafts for the youngest kids and trivia games for those in grades 4 through adult. Snacks will be served. The library will provide all the materials. For more details, call the Children’s Librarian at 241-1495, or email the Teen Librarian at teens@cityoffargo.com.
