Library Presents Personal Investing Webinars This Week

Do you have questions about investing in this up and down market? Want to take control of your financial life, but have no idea where to start looking for information? This is Money Smart Week (April 21 – April 28, 2012) and the Fargo Public Library is hosting two webinars from the Morningstar Investment Research Center to connect people with information about investing.

The first webinar is titled How to Create a Portfolio You Don’t Have to Babysit” and is scheduled for Wednesday, April 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the community room at the Dr. James Carlson Library. This presentation will include sample “no babysitting required” portfolios for investors at various life stages. This training session can also be viewed from your personal computer. The second webinar session is titled “Morningstar Investment Research Center Training” and provides an overview of the Morningstar© database’s most popular features. This session is scheduled for Thursday, April 26 at 3 p.m. in the community at the Main Library. This training session can be viewed from home at www.morningstar.com/goto/mswmirctraining. Money Smart Week is designed to educate consumers about money management, generate awareness of financial education and give consumers the opportunity to learn about saving, investing and using credit wisely.
